30 Days To Thrive Or Fail
If I don’t figure something out in the next 30 days I’m going to be out of business…
That’s what my buddy Steve had written me in an email as he pleaded for help.
I know that feeling. I know that pain. I have been there many times with several businesses on the border of going under.
He had been doing pretty well for a period of time, and then BAM. His monthly recurring dropped by 50%. Dipping into savings trying to figure it out the whole time seeing it just continue to plummet.
Steve is a smart guy & a proud guy. I knew if he was coming to me he was really in need of my help.
So we set up a quick call for the next day. He brought his partner on with him and said, “I have seen all your posts about the One-Day Summit Formula and I think it could really help us. If we don’t do something now I think I’m going to be out of business”.
The pressure was on. After I reassured him, and let him know I would do whatever I could to help, we began strategizing his One-Day Summit.
We determined he should run a premium One-Day Summit, as he needed a cash influx more than just to build his audience. We then selected what the specific problem he would be solving for his audience, as this was the most important part.
We quickly selected a theme, and format of when to go live, & listed out the appropriate speakers that would be a great fit for his One-Day Summit.
Then Steve went to work. He worked as if his business depended on it, because it did.
30 Days later Steve launched his One-Day Summit to his list. He sent out 5 emails to a list of 12,000 subscribers & prayed that it would be ok. If it wasn’t he was going to be done.
His One-Day Summit went live on a Wednesday. He offered a bonus day on Thursday & then called me Friday.
“Mark, I owe you the world! We made $39,000 this week. We are going to survive”.
He had done it! His One-Day Summit had saved his business.
He wasn’t out of the woods of course, he needed to continue to build his list, improve his platform & connect with his audience, but that bought him a few more months.
Now Steve is doing just fine. He pulled through the dip, plugged his leaky holes in his business and is back on track.
